Dublin, 3rd December, 2009: The spring is on its way and to celebrate, the 3 Irish Open is having a spring sale on tickets to this year’s championship, taking place over the August Bank Holiday weekend at Killarney Golf and Fishing Club in Co. Kerry.
75,000 visitors are expected to flock to Killarney next summer to cheer on many of the world’s best golfers, creating an electric festival of golf in the height of summer as the event unfolds in the South West of Ireland from July 29 - August 1st, 2010.

To celebrate this family festival of golf, 3 are delighted to announce the introduction of a family season ticket, enabling a family of two adults and two children to experience all four days of the action for just €50, a saving of 66% from the gate price of €150 for the equivalent of two adult season passes.
Adult single daily tickets are offered with a 50% pre Christmas discount, available now for just €15, and concessions for Senior Citizens are similarly down from €20 to €10 as a special Christmas offer.

The 3 Irish Open returns to Killarney Golf and Fishing Club for the first time in 18 years. Nick Faldo won on both previous visits to Killarney when he won the title in 1991 and 1992, before completing the hat-trick in 1993 at Mount Juliet.
The return to the picturesque Co. Kerry venue also coincides with a new summer date when the eyes of the golfing world will focus on the region just four weeks before the European Ryder Cup Team is decided.
